Well, it really is a personal process. With people, it will definitely take time and depending on the relationship you should try different things (ie cutting yourself off from them completely, or not). With things you have done? I don’t know. When I feel I’ve made a mistake I try to recognize that dwelling on it won’t change anything and that I just need to learn from it.
